BHEL pays final dividend of Rs 55 crore to Govt for FY 2023-24

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has paid a final dividend of Rs 55 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2023-24

New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), India's largest power generation equipment manufacturer, has paid a final dividend of Rs 55 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2023-24.

The cheque, representing the Government's 63.17 percent equity stake in BHEL, has been handed over to the Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel HD Kumaraswamy, by BHEL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) K Sadashiv Murthy. The presentation took place in the presence of Kamran Rizvi, Secretary of Heavy Industries, along with BHEL board members and senior officials from the Ministry of Heavy Industries.

The total dividend paid by BHEL to its shareholders for FY 2023-24 stands at over Rs 87 crore, underscoring the company's commitment to delivering value to its stakeholders.
