BHEL pays Rs 109.98 crore final dividend to Govt for FY25

BHEL has paid a final dividend of Rs 109.98 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2024–25

New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise, has paid a final dividend of Rs 109.98 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2024–25.

The cheque towards the final dividend, corresponding to the Government of India’s 63.17 per cent equity holding in the company, was presented by K. Sadashiv Murthy, Chairman and Managing Director, BHEL, to H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel. The presentation took place in the presence of Kamran Rizvi, Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries.

Directors on the Board of BHEL and senior officials from the Ministry of Heavy Industries were also present on the occasion.

With this payment, the total dividend disbursed by BHEL to its shareholders for FY 2024–25 stands at Rs 174.10 crore, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to delivering value to its stakeholders.
