BHEL Q4 net profit doubles to Rs 1,290 crore; FY26 net profit surges three-fold

New Delhi: State-run engineering major Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has reported a two-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,290.47 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, driven by a strong rise in revenues.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 504.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, BHEL said in a regulatory filing on Monday.

Total income during the January–March quarter of FY26 rose significantly to Rs 12,553.50 crore, compared to Rs 9,142.64 crore reported in the same period of FY25.

For the full financial year 2025–26, BHEL’s net profit surged to Rs 1,600.26 crore, up sharply from Rs 533.90 crore recorded in the previous fiscal, indicating a strong earnings recovery.

The company’s Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.40 per equity share of face value Rs 2 each for FY26, subject to shareholder approval.
