Central Bank of India advances rise 30 percent to Rs 3.81 lakh crore in Q2

Central Bank of India reported 14 percent growth in deposits, while total business increased 21 percent to Rs 8.89 lakh crore during the quarter

New Delhi: State owned Central Bank of India on Monday reported a 30 percent year-on-year increase in total advances to Rs 3.81 lakh crore at the end of September 2026.

Advances stood at Rs 2.93 lakh crore as of September 30, 2025, the state-owned lender said in a regulatory filing.

Total deposits grew 14 percent to Rs 5.08 lakh crore from Rs 4.44 lakh crore a year earlier. Total business, comprising deposits and advances, rose 21 percent to Rs 8.89 lakh crore from over Rs 7.37 lakh crore.

Current account and savings account (CASA) deposits increased 9 percent to Rs 2.26 lakh crore, the bank said.
