Central Bank of India pays annual interest on Basel III Tier 2 bonds

Central Bank of India has paid an annual interest of Rs 46,00,00,000 on Basel III Tier 2 bonds

New Delhi: State-owned Central Bank of India said in a regulatory filing that it paid annual interest of Rs 46,00,00,000 on Monday on its Basel III compliant Tier II Bonds Series V at a coupon rate of 9.2 percent to the eligible bondholder as per the record date.

Specific details

As per the filing, Rs 500,00,00,000 was the issue size. The record date was March 5. "Last year, the bank paid annual interest on March 21," it stated.
