Coal India initiates stock verification drive

New Delhi: Coal India Limited (CIL) has initiated a coal stock verification drive at all its subsidiaries. The initiative, aimed at promoting preventive vigilance, involves the formation of various teams, comprising domain experts at the subsidiary level.

The teams will also supervise weighbridges and oversee the implementation of IT initiatives to ensure transparency and better governance in more than 25 locations in 14 mining areas across the seven coal producing companies of Coal India.

CIL CVO Brajesh Kumar Tripathi, along with CVOs of subsidiary companies, are visiting the identified sites.
