Coal India organises workshop on new technologies in mining machinery

Coal India Limited (CIL) organised a seminar on “New Technologies in Mining Machinery” at its corporate office in Kolkata

New Delhi: Coal India Limited (CIL) organised a seminar on “New Technologies in Mining Machinery” at its corporate office in Kolkata. CIL's Chairman PM Prasad inaugurated the workshop.

On the occasion, Prasad said that “coal will remain the primary fuel source in India for the foreseeable future, however, it is imperative that all measures should be taken to increase productivity with utmost care of maintaining environmental sustainability.”

CIL's Director (Technical) Dr B Veera Reddy urged the participants to share the prospective technology shift in the upcoming 2-3 years and explore the possibility for implementation in Coal India.

CIL's Director (P&IR) Vinay Ranjan, Director (Business Development) Debashish Nanda and Chief Vigilance Officer Brajesh Kumar Tripathy along with senior officials attended the workshop.
