New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aramco Asia India Pvt. Ltd. (AAI) to evaluate the commercial feasibility and business potential of establishing a branch office aligned with EIL’s service offerings. The agreement marks a strategic step towards fostering long-term cooperation between the two organisations.
The MoU was formalised by Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial), EIL, and Jamal Al Enazy, Director of Aramco Asia Procurement & Supply Chain Management, in the presence of senior leadership from both sides. Distinguished attendees included Vartika Shukla, Chairman & Managing Director of EIL, Khalid Al Hajri, Vice President of Saudi Aramco Procurement Department, and Abdulrahman Y. Althukair, Managing Director of AAI.
EIL, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), is a leading engineering consultancy offering end-to-end services across sectors including oil & gas, petrochemicals, refining, metallurgy, fertilizers, infrastructure and renewable energy.
AAI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals producer, plays a pivotal role in linking Aramco’s global capabilities with India’s evolving energy ecosystem. The company supports Aramco through coordination of transactions and projects involving crude oil, petroleum products and other energy-related domains.
Both EIL and AAI expressed confidence that the collaboration will help unlock new opportunities and deepen engagement between India and Saudi Arabia in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
