New Delhi: State-owned Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) has successfully carried out the refit of PV Ma Ganga as part of its strategic partnership with SMPK (Sashastra Seema Bal Police Kalyan). Following comprehensive testing and river trials, the vessel embarked on its forward deployment on May 29.

The completion of the refit marks a significant milestone in the partnership between GRSE and SMPK. The PV Ma Ganga underwent rigorous testing and trials to ensure its readiness for operational deployment. With the successful completion of these trials, the vessel has set sail for its forward deployment, reinforcing the security and surveillance efforts along India's maritime frontiers.
