GRSE marks 67th Raising Day, reinforces commitment to maritime excellence

New Delhi: The Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) celebrated its 67th Raising Day with enthusiasm at its Main Unit Auditorium in Kolkata, highlighting its legacy and continued contribution to India’s maritime capabilities.

The event began with the rendition of the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’, setting a patriotic tone for the celebrations. The occasion was attended by the company’s senior leadership, including Chairman & Managing Director Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd.), along with Director (Shipbuilding) Cdr Shantanu Bose, IN (Retd.), Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel) Capt (IN) P Sunilkumar (Retd.), Director (Finance), Niranjan Bhalerao, and Chief Vigilance Officer Abhishek Ranjan, IOFS, among other officials and employees.

On the occasion, CMD PR Hari unveiled the company’s annual in-house journal ‘GRSE Varta 2026’. The celebration also included the presentation of merit awards to employees’ children and recognition of employees for outstanding performance across multiple categories.
