Hindustan Copper reports its strongest-ever financial performance for FY'25

New Delhi: Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) reported its strongest-ever financial performance for FY 2024-25 during its 58th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Thursday.

HCL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Sanjiv Kumar Singh informed shareholders that the company achieved its highest-ever revenue from operations at Rs 2,070.97 crore, marking a 21 percent year-on-year growth compared to Rs 1,717.00 crore in FY 2023-24. Profit after tax (PAT) also surged by 42 percent to Rs 468.53 crore, against Rs 295.41 crore in the previous fiscal.

Reflecting its improved financial position, the Board has recommended a dividend payout of 29.20 percent on the paid-up capital, equivalent to Rs 1.46 per share of Rs 5 face value, for shareholders’ approval.

During the meeting, Singh briefed members on the global and domestic copper market outlook, HCL’s operational and financial achievements, expansion strategy, and its social and environmental initiatives.

The AGM was attended by senior officials including Dr Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, Director (Operations) & Director (Mining – Addl. Charge); R V N Vishweshwar, Director (Finance); Government Nominee Directors Shakil Alam and Dr Ashish Saxena; Independent Director Avinash Janardan Bhide; and Mritunjay Kumar Dev, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer. Bappa Dey, Under Secretary, Ministry of Mines, participated as nominee of the President of India, along with 81 members of the company.
