The Navratna NBFC-IFC has achieved the top rating for the second consecutive year, positioning itself among the best-performing public sector enterprises in the financial services space. The strong MoU score places HUDCO ahead of many of its peers and reflects consistent operational and financial excellence.

According to an official statement, HUDCO excelled in nine out of the 12 performance parameters assessed under the MoU framework, achieving 100 percent compliance in several key areas. These included sustained profitability with improved shareholder returns, robust asset quality, and high loan efficiency aimed at supporting housing and urban infrastructure development across the country.

The evaluation also highlighted HUDCO’s full compliance with Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS) platforms, underlining its commitment to transparency and ease of doing business. The company’s socially impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and focus on employee wellbeing through proactive health and safety measures were also recognised.

Commenting on the achievement, HUDCO Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Sanjay Kulshrestha said the ‘Excellent’ MoU rating reaffirmed the corporation’s stature as a trusted and high-performing Navratna CPSE. He added that the recognition reflected the organisation’s emphasis on excellence, accountability and nation-building, and reiterated HUDCO’s commitment to supporting sustainable and inclusive urban development in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
