The non-binding MoU has been signed on Wednesday, at Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Under the agreement, HUDCO may extend long-term and structured financing support for the implementation of various housing and infrastructure projects in the state.

The proposed financial assistance will cover a wide range of urban infrastructure segments, including water supply, sewerage, drainage systems, roads, solid waste management, power and renewable energy projects, aimed at fostering sustainable, inclusive and resilient urban development.

HUDCO, a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, plays a key role in financing housing and urban infrastructure projects across the country. The partnership with the Government of Chhattisgarh is expected to strengthen the state’s capacity to implement large-scale urban development initiatives and improve civic infrastructure.
