Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) Managing Director Dr SP Mohanty delivered the keynote address on “Unlocking the Value Chain – Bio-Products & Additional Revenue Streams.” Dr. Mohanty emphasized the untapped potential of CBG by-products such as bio-fertilizers, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen, highlighting their dual role in environmental sustainability and revenue diversification.

He called on industry stakeholders to reimagine CBG as more than a renewable energy source, positioning it instead as a cornerstone of India’s green value chain and agricultural resilience.

Key insights from the summit included the economic value of CBG by-products, the potential of bio-alternatives in agriculture, the need for robust certification and quality standards, and the significance of strategic public-private partnerships in achieving Net Zero 2070 goals.

HURL made a strong presence at the summit with an interactive stall showcasing its green technologies and sustainable initiatives. The company’s proactive engagement and commitment to innovation earned it the *“Appreciation Award for Visionary in Policy & Government Advocacy for CBG.”*

The award recognises HURL’s leadership in promoting bio-energy and its influential role in shaping India’s renewable energy policy landscape.

As the summit concluded, a clear message emerged — unlocking the bio-economy is key to a sustainable industrial future, and companies like HURL are leading the way.
