Indian Bank partners with UPSRTC to launch tailored corporate salary packages

New Delhi: Indian Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to offer customized corporate salary packages for UPSRTC employees. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister Daya Shankar Singh, Indian Bank’s Executive Director Brajesh Kumar Singh, and UPSRTC Managing Director Masoom Ali Sarwar.

The event witnessed participation from key dignitaries, including Principal Secretary Venkateshwarlu, Special Secretary-Transport KP Singh, UPSRTC Finance Controller Ajai Jauhari, and Additional MD Ram Singh Verma. Representing Indian Bank were Chief General Manager Sudhir Kumar Gupta, along with Field General Managers Sudhanshu Gaur (Meerut) and Navin Kumar Shrivastava (Allahabad).

As part of the collaboration, Indian Bank will provide UPSRTC employees with an array of financial benefits. These include insurance coverage of up to ₹1 crore, complimentary banking services, and ATM cards with premium lounge access, among other exclusive perks. The initiative is part of Indian Bank’s broader vision to extend similar financial solutions to other government departments, fostering greater convenience and financial inclusion.

In addition to the MoU, the bank demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by announcing the establishment of 600 temporary changing rooms for women pilgrims at the upcoming Mahakumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj. The event also saw the State Transport Minister digitally inaugurate the foundation stones for three new ATMs at Banda, Hamirpur, and Mahoba bus depots.

Indian Bank operates a robust network in Uttar Pradesh, comprising 1,081 branches, 536 ATMs, 4,343 business correspondent locations, and 6,469 customer touchpoints. With plans to launch more digital products, the bank aims to address evolving customer needs and enhance accessibility. This collaboration underscores Indian Bank’s commitment to building impactful partnerships, fostering economic growth, and addressing the unique requirements of government employees.
