Indian Oil hosts Public Sector Month talk on India’s global rise at Refineries HQ

Indian Oil organised a special leadership session at its Refineries Headquarters as part of the ongoing Public Sector Month celebrations, focusing on India’s emergence as a global power

New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) organised a special leadership session at its Refineries Headquarters as part of the ongoing Public Sector Month celebrations, focusing on India’s emergence as a global power.

The session was led by Indian Oil's Director (Refineries) Arvind Kumar and featured an address by former Ambassador Deepak Vohra.

Dr Vohra delivered a talk titled “The Jaamvant Effect: How India Becomes Bharat,” highlighting the country’s growing global stature backed by strong economic fundamentals, rapid digital advancement, and evolving strategic capabilities. He emphasised the need to unlock India’s full potential as it progresses towards the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’.

Addressing the senior leadership team, Kumar reaffirmed Indian Oil’s critical role in nation-building. He underscored the company’s continued commitment to ensuring energy security for the country, including maintaining uninterrupted supply of petroleum products even during periods of global supply disruptions.
