In a regulatory filing, IRCON informed the stock exchanges that the contract variation pertains to the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of integrated tunnel communication systems and an OFC-based industrial-grade network system. The scope includes the laying of optical fibre cables and other related infrastructure covering tunnels and stations, specifically in the Khongsang–Awangkhul section of the project.

The order, originally valued at Rs 144.17 crore, now stands revised to approximately Rs 203.61 crore.

This is a domestic works contract, and IRCON is expected to complete the execution by June 30, 2025.

The company clarified that the order does not constitute a related party transaction, and neither the promoter group nor any group company has an interest in the awarding entity.
