The state-owned renewable energy financier said its loan disbursements during the third quarter rose by 32 percent to Rs 9,860 crore, compared to Rs 7,449 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations has also increased 26 percent to Rs 2,140 crore, showing the sustained momentum in financing clean energy projects across the country.

Commenting on the performance, IREDA's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Pradip Kumar Das said the robust growth reflected the organisation’s continued focus on supporting India’s renewable energy transition. He noted that the rise in loan disbursements, profitability and net worth underscored the confidence reposed in IREDA by its stakeholders.
Das also expressed his appreciation to Team IREDA for their efforts and acknowledged the guidance and support of the Union Minister and Minister of State for New & Renewable Energy, the Secretary of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), and the company’s Board of Directors.
