ITI Limited secures empanelment from GIPL for IT infrastructure and cyber security projects

ITI Limited has secured empanelment as System Integrator for two major IT implementation projects from Guj Info Petro Limited (GIPL)

Bengaluru/Gandhinagar: ITI Limited, the country’s first PSU post-independence and a leading telecom manufacturing company, has secured empanelment as System Integrator for two major IT implementation projects from Guj Info Petro Limited (GIPL).

The empanelment, valid for 36 months, covers the implementation of advanced IT infrastructure and the establishment of a Cyber Security Operation Centre (SOC) at GIPL’s data centre in Gandhinagar. The projects together are valued at around Rs 110 crore.

According to the company, these contracts will strengthen Gujarat’s digital transformation initiatives by deploying robust IT systems and enhancing cyber security operations for critical state infrastructure.

Commenting on the development, Rajesh Rai, Chairman and Managing Director of ITI Limited, said, “Our successful empanelment with GIPL reflects ITI's position as a trusted IT solutions provider. This milestone also marks ITI’s entry into the challenging cyber security SOC segment.”

ITI Limited is already executing projects worth over Rs 1,200 crore in Gujarat, including broadband connectivity to 4,271 Gram Panchayats under the GUJNET project and modernization of integrated command and control centres for Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation.
