Jaisalmer Railway Station undergoes transformation: Rail Min

The Ministry of Railways recently shared an update on the ongoing transformation of Jaisalmer Railway Station, highlighting the completion of major works and the progress made so far

Jaisalmer: The Ministry of Railways recently shared an update on the ongoing transformation of Jaisalmer Railway Station, highlighting the completion of major works and the progress made so far. The completed works at Jaisalmer Railway Station include the Multifunctional Complex (MCO) and the new Parcel Office, which have been constructed up to the roof level. Additionally, the excavation for the new Station building has been completed up to the plinth level, showcasing significant advancements in the renovation project.

Column work is under progress

Further, the tweet also said that currently, the focus is on the building column work, which is in progress at the station. This critical stage involves the construction of columns that will provide structural support to the future development of the station building. The ongoing construction activities demonstrate the concerted efforts to revamp Jaisalmer Railway Station and enhance its infrastructure.
