Parallel to the G20, many groups working on topics related to business and social issues are active. Civil20 is one of them which is an engagement group of G20. What does the Civil20 logo signify?

In the logo of Civil20, the number 20 appears to be formed from the flame of a lamp, which signifies the transition from darkness to light. 'Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya', which means "may the light of knowledge remove the darkness of ignorance", has been proclaimed in the oldest prayers of India. The purpose of the logo of Civil20 is to generate a light of awareness towards the social problems prevailing in society.

Civil20 is set to organise discussions and seminars at different places across the country in the coming months which will culminate in a summit. In this summit, a policy document will be released on the issues of the status and development of citizens' organisations.
