MOIL achieves record August production with 17% growth year-on-year

New Delhi/Nagpur: State-owned manganese ore producer MOIL Limited has reported its best-ever August production, achieving 1.45 lakh tonnes in August 2025, a growth of 17 percent over the same month last year.

The company also posted strong sales performance, recording 1.13 lakh tonnes of sales during the month, up 25.6 percent year-on-year.

For the five-month period of April to August 2025, MOIL registered its highest-ever cumulative production at 7.92 lakh tonnes, representing a 9.3 percent increase over the corresponding period of the previous year. The company also carried out 50,621 meters of exploratory drilling during the period, an 8.6 percent year-on-year rise, underscoring its focus on expanding future mining capacity.

Ajit Kumar Saxena, Chairman and Managing Director of MOIL, commended the workforce for achieving these milestones despite challenging weather conditions. He highlighted the company’s sustained momentum in production and sales as a testament to the team’s commitment and operational efficiency.

MOIL Limited, headquartered in Nagpur, is a leading producer of manganese ore in India and operates several mines in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
