MOIL cuts manganese ore prices by up to 10% for July

MOIL Limited has reduced the prices of various grades of manganese ore by up to 10 percent for July 2026, with the revised rates coming into effect from July 1

New Delhi: State-owned MOIL Limited has reduced the prices of various grades of manganese ore by up to 10 percent for July 2026, with the revised rates coming into effect from July 1. As per the company, the price revision is part of its periodic pricing exercise for manganese ore and related products.

According to a regulatory filing, MOIL has reduced the prices of all ferro grades of manganese ore with manganese content of 44 percent and above by 5 percent over the prices prevailing since June 1, 2026. The revised prices became effective from the midnight of June 30/July 1 for the month of July.

The company has also lowered the prices of all other ferro grades of manganese ore with manganese content below 44 percent, as well as chemical grades, SMGR grades and fines, by 5 percent compared with the prices effective from June 1, 2026.

Among specific products, MOIL has retained the prices of fines under ore codes BGF534, KDF393 and UKF532 for July 2026. However, the price of ferro grade BG4584 has been reduced by 10 percent from the prevailing June prices.

The company has also decided to keep the basic prices of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) and EMD flakes unchanged for July 2026. The basic price of EMD has been retained at Rs 1,80,000 per metric tonne (PMT), while the basic price of EMD flakes continues at Rs 1,71,000 per metric tonne.

The revised prices are effective from July 1.
