MOIL records highest-ever July production in FY’26

MOIL Limited has reported its highest-ever production for the month of July, achieving an output of 1.45 lakh tonnes in July 2025

New Delhi: The State-owned manganese mining company MOIL Limited has reported its highest-ever production for the month of July, achieving an output of 1.45 lakh tonnes in July 2025. This marks a 12 percent increase over the corresponding period last year (CPLY), reflecting strong operational resilience despite heavy rainfall during the month.

The company maintained a robust performance during the first four months of the current financial year (April–July FY’26), clocking a total production of 6.47 lakh tonnes—a year-on-year growth of 7.8 percent. MOIL’s cumulative sales during the period reached 5.01 lakh tonnes, up by 10.7 percent over the CPLY. Additionally, the company recorded exploratory drilling of 43,215 meters, an increase of 11.4 percent over the same period last year.

Commenting on the performance, MOIL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Ajit Kumar Saxena congratulated the team for achieving the milestone and lauded their commitment to boosting production and sales amid challenging weather conditions.

MOIL is the largest producer of manganese ore in the country and operates several mines in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
