New Delhi: Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu on Thursday reviewed the progress made by regulator AERA in formulating a uniform, tariff-linked performance oversight mechanism for major airports.

India is one of the world's fastest growing domestic civil aviation markets and more airports are being planned to meet the rising air traffic demand.

"Clear directions have been given to AERA to ensure that passenger facilitation is embedded within airport charges framework in a transparent way while also encouraging airports for operational excellence," Naidu said in a post on X.
