NALCO management suspends its Director (HR) with immediate effect

New Delhi: The management of National Aluminium Company (NALCO) Limited has suspended its Director (HR) Radhashyam Mahapatro on Thursday over the allegation of the corruption. This informational has been shared by the Mining PSU in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on March 14. However, the details of alleged corruption has not been shared by the PSU.

"...the Competent Authority in exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 23 of NALCO Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules, 1984, has placed Radhashyam Mahapatro, Director (HR) under suspension with immediate effect," NALCO informed the bourses.

Additionally, NALCO's Director (Projects & Technical) Jagdish Arora has been given additional charge of NALCO's Director (HR).

"...upon suspension of Mahapatro, Ministry of Mines has assigned Jagdish Arora, Director (P&T) with the additional charge of Director (HR) with effect from March 14 during the suspension period or until further orders, whichever is the earliest," it further informed in a separate filing.
