NALCO pays record Rs 1,083.06 crore dividend to Govt

NALCO paid a total dividend of Rs 2,112.12 crore, equivalent to 230 percent on the equity share of Rs 5 each, during FY 2025-26

New Delhi: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has paid Rs 1,083.06 crore as dividend to the Government of India for FY 2025-26, marking the highest-ever dividend paid by the company.

NALCO paid a total dividend of Rs 2,112.12 crore, equivalent to 230 percent on the equity share of Rs 5 each, during FY 2025-26. The Government of India’s share stood at Rs 1,083.06 crore.

The dividend cheque was handed over to G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Coal and Mines, by Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, NALCO, during the Investor Roadshow on Angul Aluminium Park held in Kolkata.

Keshav Chandra, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, was present on the occasion. Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technology), Abhay Kumar Behuria, Director (Finance), and senior officials from NALCO and the Ministry of Mines also attended the event.

NALCO reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 5,815.76 crore for FY 2025-26. The company declared and paid the total dividend of Rs 2,112.12 crore during the year through three interim dividends and a final dividend.

Of the total dividend, Rs 1,083.06 crore was paid to the Government of India, reflecting the Centre’s shareholding in the Navratna aluminium producer.
