NBCC bags Rs 134.05 crore work orders in Odisha

NBCC has secured PMC work orders worth approximately Rs 134.05 crore in Odisha

New Delhi: State-owned NBCC (India) Limited has secured work orders worth approximately Rs 134.05 crore in Odisha, the company informed stock exchanges on January 5.

The orders include construction, repair and renovation works at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University under the PM-USHA scheme, as well as civil works for government schools under the Godabarisha Mishra Adarsha Prathamika Vidyalaya Scheme. Both projects will be executed on a project management consultancy (PMC) basis .

Of the total order value, Rs 45.87 crore has been awarded by Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University for construction and renovation works at its Baripada campus in Mayurbhanj district. The project falls under the Prime Minister’s PM-USHA initiative aimed at strengthening higher education infrastructure.

The remaining Rs 88.18 crore order has been awarded by the Odisha School Programme Authority, Bhubaneswar, for implementation of civil works under the Godabarisha Mishra Adarsha Prathamika Vidyalaya Scheme, which focuses on improving primary school infrastructure across the state.
