New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has announced that it has received a significant work order valued at approximately Rs 354.88 crore for providing project management and supervision services for the development of a major zoological infrastructure project in Maharashtra.
The work order, awarded by FDCM Gorewada Zoo Limited, includes consultancy services for the execution of key components such as the African Zoo, Safari Plaza, Animal Hospital, Quarantine Facility, and other allied works. The project will be implemented as part of NBCC’s regular business operations.
The company clarified that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions. It will be executed in a project management consultancy (PMC) capacity, a core area of expertise for NBCC.
NBCC has not specified a timeline for the completion of the project but emphasized that the contract further strengthens its footprint in the zoological and eco-tourism infrastructure sector.
NBCC (India) Ltd, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, continues to play a crucial role in infrastructure development across India, particularly through its PMC services for large-scale projects in public and strategic sectors.
