New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has secured a significant project worth approximately Rs 44.62 crore (excluding GST). The company has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the construction and development of infrastructure at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialisation (MGIRI) in Wardha, Maharashtra.
The scope of the project includes the development of essential infrastructure, along with the construction of a hostel and a VIP guest house at MGIRI. The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
This latest contract underscores NBCC's continued leadership in infrastructure development and project management services across various sectors. The company, which has a strong track record of executing large-scale government and public sector projects, will leverage its expertise to ensure timely and efficient completion of the MGIRI initiative.
The awarded contract aligns with NBCC’s strategic growth objectives and reinforces its role in supporting rural industrialization initiatives in the country. The project is expected to bolster infrastructure at MGIRI, thereby enhancing its capabilities in promoting rural entrepreneurship and industrial development.
The official announcement regarding the work order has been made by NBCC in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Monday.
