NBCC secures Rs 498.30 crore PMC contract from DVC

NBCC has secured a new work order worth approximately Rs 498.30 crore from DVC for the construction of an integrated township at the Chandrapura Thermal Power Station in Jharkhand

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has secured a new work order worth approximately Rs 498.30 crore from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for the construction of an integrated township at the Chandrapura Thermal Power Station in Jharkhand, the company informed the stock exchanges.

The project, awarded in the ordinary course of business, involves Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of the township. The order has been given by a domestic entity, and the scope covers planning, coordination, and execution oversight for the township project at Chandrapura.

NBCC stated that the estimated value of the contract, excluding GST, stands at Rs 498.30 crore. The company also confirmed that the promoters or promoter group have no interest in the awarding entity, and the order does not fall under related-party transactions.
