NBCC secures Rs 50.54 crore work order for temple development project in Himachal

NBCC will serve as the Project Management Consultant (MPC) for the project, which aims to enhance infrastructure and amenities at the revered temple site

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE and a leading public sector enterprise, on Tuesday said that it has been awarded a significant work order amounting to approximately Rs 50.54 crore for temple development project in Himachal Pradesh.

According to NBCC's regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Tuesday, the contract, granted by the Ministry of Tourism, pertains to the development of "Maa Chintpurni Temple" in Una district, Himachal Pradesh, under the Prashad Scheme of the Government of India.

NBCC will serve as the Project Management Consultant (MPC) for the project, which aims to enhance infrastructure and amenities at the revered temple site. "This work order falls within the normal course of business for NBCC and aligns with its ongoing efforts in project consultancy and execution across various sectors," NBCC further informed.
