NBCC secures work orders worth Rs 62.62 crore

New Delhi: State-owned NBCC (India) Limited on Tuesday said that it has received work orders worth approximately Rs 62.62 crore. The information has been shared by the Navratna PSU in a regulatory filing to stock exchanges on Tuesday .

The orders include a Rs 6.39 crore project awarded by NHPC for construction of residential rooms above Block-II and Block-III at NHPC’s Regional Office in Narwal, Jammu. The scope of work also involves partial dismantling of the existing ground floor to facilitate the new construction.

In addition, NBCC has secured a Rs 56.23 crore project from the Higher Education Department of the Government of Odisha for construction and renovation works across five state public universities under the GSU component of the PM-USHA scheme.

Both projects have been awarded by domestic entities and fall under Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services. The company clarified that neither of the contracts involves any promoter or related party interest and are not related party transactions.
