"With this the products of the farmers will not only get a fair price but the cooperative movement will also be strengthened. A total of 1578 societies of Madhya Pradesh have taken membership of NCEL," he added.

Describing the cooperative sector as an important part of agriculture, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Aidal Singh Kansana said MP was a leader in this aspect and had won the Krishi Kisan Award seven times.

Through the MoU, farmers will get the right price for their produce on delivery as per demand, Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal said adding that MP exports paddy, spices, coriander, chilli, bananas etc.
