NCLT President Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal inaugurated the two services through video conferencing on Wednesday. The initiative is part of the Tribunal’s broader digital transformation, which includes its revamped website and the ongoing e-Courts 2.0 initiative.

Justice Grewal said the new services are aimed at making the NCLT Registry more accessible and technology-enabled while improving the efficiency of judicial record management.

The NCLT has also adopted a data-driven mechanism to monitor pendency across its Benches. Based on the data collected, the Tribunal has reviewed and redistributed workload, constituted Special Benches where required and taken measures to maximise available court time.

These measures contributed to the approval of 78 resolution plans during April-June 2026, the highest first-quarter performance since the enactment of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The resolution plans involved approximately Rs 5,517.66 crore.

The Tribunal has further issued detailed guidelines on registration and listing of cases in consultation with the Bar, with the objective of ensuring optimum utilisation of limited judicial resources.

Justice Grewal acknowledged that the NCLT continues to face infrastructural and manpower constraints, while emphasising that sustained efforts are being made to reduce avoidable delays and improve judicial efficiency.
