New product rolled out from MMSM of RINL-VSP

This 125X125 mm billet is a new product profile added to the RINL's product basket to meet the demands of both domestic and international market

Visakhapatnam: The Medium Merchant Structural Mill (MMSM) of RINL-VSP has for the first time rolled out 125X125 mm billets by modifying its Roll Stands to meet the increasing market demand. Previously, MMSM rolled out Billets of max size 90X90 mm only. The trial operation was carried out successfully for IS:2830 grade, however other grades also can be rolled out depending on the requirement.

While speaking on the occasion, RINL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) PK Rath said that it is a momentous occasion for RINL to bring out a new product from its sophisticated mills to suit to the market demand. He congratulated the MMSM team and Works Division for the achievement. He exhorted them to take up further innovations to meet the market demand based on customer requirements.

RINL's Director (Commercial) DK Mohanty, Director (Operations) AK Saxena, Executive Director (Works) i/c  KV Vidya Sagar and other senior officials of the organisation were also present on this occasion.

RINL produces special steel, including wire rod coils, rounds, billets of different grades and dimensions to meet the demands of Infrastructure, construction and auto industry etc.
