NHPC CMD chairs project review meeting for key hydroelectric projects in Jammu & Kashmir

New Delhi: The Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NHPC (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation), RK Vishnoi made his first visit to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, where he presided over a crucial Project Review Meeting for several significant hydroelectric projects.

Meeting focused on 5 crucial hydro projects

The primary focus of the meeting was to assess the progress and discuss the way forward for five crucial projects, namely Pakal Dul, Kiru, Kwar, Ratle, and Sawalkot. These projects hold immense importance in the region's efforts to harness renewable energy sources and contribute to the overall development of the state.

The meeting, held on June 2 in Jammu, saw the participation of esteemed officials, including the Director (Project/Technical), Executive Directors (ED), Project Monitoring and Support Group (PMSG), Regional Office (RO) Jammu, and the Managing Director of Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPPL).
