New Delhi: State-run NLC India Limited (NLCIL) on Friday reported a 9.76 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated profit before tax (PBT) to Rs 651.55 crore for the quarter ended June 30, supported by robust growth in revenue and power generation. On a standalone basis, PBT rose 3.76 percent to Rs 548.67 crore during the quarter.

At the group level, revenue from operations increased 23.29 percent year-on-year to Rs 4,716.75 crore from Rs 3,825.61 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. EBITDA grew 18.71 percent to Rs 1,699.59 crore, while the company's net worth increased 13.11 percent to Rs 22,069.07 crore as on June 30, 2026.

On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose 15.07 percent to Rs 2,871.73 crore from Rs 2,495.60 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA improved marginally by 1.13 percent to Rs 1,013.13 crore, while the company's net worth increased 10.53 percent to Rs 19,701.70 crore. NLC India also achieved 100 percent collection efficiency from power debtors during the period.
Operationally, standalone coal production increased 7.84 percent year-on-year to 40.85 lakh tonnes during the April-June quarter, while thermal power gross generation rose 8.27 percent to 4,318.85 million units. At the group level, gross power generation grew 25 percent to 8,262.06 million units, reflecting improved operational performance across its businesses.
