NRDC CMD highlights role of innovation and collaboration at 4th PSU Transformation Conclave

New Delhi: The Chairman and Managing Director of the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) Cmde. Amit Rastogi (Retd.) emphasized the corporation's pivotal role in driving innovation and bridging technology gaps during his address at the 4th PSU Transformation Conclave held in New Delhi.

Addressing a distinguished gathering of policymakers, thought leaders, and industry stakeholders, Cmde. Rastogi highlighted how NRDC has positioned itself as a key enabler in India's innovation ecosystem. He underscored the corporation’s efforts in creating robust linkages between premier research institutions and the startup/industrial ecosystem to facilitate knowledge transfer and the commercialization of indigenous technologies.

“NRDC is actively enabling the transformation of public sector undertakings by embedding innovation, encouraging R&D, and bridging critical technology divides,” Cmde. Rastogi said, adding that these efforts are integral to India's long-term innovation-led growth strategy.

He further elaborated on NRDC’s unique role in fostering seamless industry-academia collaboration, which has proven essential in unlocking the commercial potential of homegrown technologies. Through strategic partnerships and support mechanisms, NRDC continues to contribute towards building a self-reliant and technologically advanced public sector.

The conclave served as a platform for exchange of ideas and best practices aimed at strengthening PSUs through transformation, innovation, and collaboration, with NRDC’s initiatives drawing significant attention.
