New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Mining Corporation's (OMC) Managing Director Sudhansu Mohan Samal (IAS) chaired a comprehensive review meeting with Functional Directors and Sectoral Heads to evaluate the progress of various sections within the organisation. The meeting, held as part of OMC’s weekly review framework, focused on resolving ongoing issues, addressing critical matters, and charting a path for the corporation's future growth.

During the interaction, sectional heads presented concise status reports detailing key updates and challenges. The discussions covered a wide range of operational aspects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and productivity of the organisation. These weekly reviews are an integral part of OMC’s strategy to ensure seamless operations and drive the corporation’s contribution to the state’s economic growth.

Samal emphasised the importance of identifying key priorities across the mining regions under OMC’s jurisdiction. He urged the leadership to address issues requiring immediate intervention to ensure the timely accomplishment of tasks. “A structured and solution-oriented approach is vital for enhancing OMC’s operational efficiency and achieving our organizational goals,” said Samal.

The deliberations also highlighted the critical role of OMC in propelling the growth of Odisha by maximizing its mining capabilities and contributing to state development. The MD’s emphasis on strategic intervention and collaborative problem-solving reflected the organisation’s commitment to elevating its performance to new heights.
