New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has awarded a Rs 125 crore contract to Corporate Infotech Pvt Ltd (CIPL) for upgrading and managing its IT infrastructure using artificial intelligence (AI)-driven technologies.

The contract entails IT infrastructure maintenance, digitalisation, and a comprehensive security overhaul across 47 locations of ONGC nationwide. The project will be executed over a three-year period, according to a statement issued by CIPL.
Under the agreement, the Noida-based technology solutions provider will deploy AI-powered systems to enhance digital operations and strengthen ONGC’s cybersecurity framework. The initiative is aimed at improving efficiency, resilience, and reliability of mission-critical IT systems across the Maharatna PSU.

Commenting on the development, Managing Director of CIPL Vinod Kumar said that the partnership goes beyond infrastructure modernisation and focuses on leveraging AI-led digitalisation to transform IT operations at scale. He added that the integration of AI-driven monitoring, predictive maintenance, and intelligent automation would help set new benchmarks in operational efficiency and system reliability.
As part of the project, CIPL will deploy over 450 skilled professionals to ensure seamless implementation and round-the-clock support across ONGC’s operational locations. The company will also deliver a future-ready and secure IT ecosystem, aligned with evolving digital and cybersecurity requirements.
