ONGC stabilises fire incident at Mumbai High SHP platform; operations normalised

ONGC on Friday reported a fire incident at its Mumbai High SHP platform in which 10 personnel sustained minor injuries

New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd's (ONGC) reporated a fire incident at its SHP Platform under the Mumbai High Asset on Friday.

According to an official statement, the incident was reported at around 5:45 PM on April 3, 2026. The situation was swiftly brought under control and the fire was extinguished through prompt response measures.

ONGC informed that 10 personnel sustained minor injuries in the incident and are currently under medical care. All injured individuals are reported to be stable.

The company further stated that operations at the platform have resumed normalcy following the incident.
