New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, showcased its major railway and infrastructure projects at 'INNOPROM. India 2026,' held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from September 9 to 11.

A key highlight of the three-day industrial exhibition was the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the RVNL stall. RVNL Chairman and Managing Director Saleem Ahmad welcomed the two leaders at the stall.
RVNL showcased a range of projects and technological capabilities, including the Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets being manufactured in collaboration with Russian company TMH. RVNL and TMH have formed KINET for manufacturing the trainsets, bringing together Indian manufacturing capabilities and Russian technology.

The company also displayed a model of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) being deployed for tunnel construction under the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag Rail Link Project in the Himalayan region.
Another key display was the New Pamban Railway Sea Bridge, India's first vertical lift railway sea bridge. The company also showcased the BharatNet project in Uttar Pradesh, being executed by RVNL, through dedicated displays and an audio-visual presentation.
The RVNL stall featured scale models, project panels, brochures, corporate films and other audio-visual material highlighting the company's project execution capabilities and diversified portfolio.
The exhibition, held for the first time in India, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, technology companies, buyers and suppliers, with a focus on India-Russia trade, industrial cooperation, technology partnerships and investment.
Senior RVNL officials, including Director (Operations) M.P. Singh and Director (Projects) Amit Tandon, visited the stall during the exhibition. Several senior government officials also visited the RVNL stall.
INNOPROM. India 2026 was jointly organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, with Formika Event as the event operator.
