BDL organises ‘Walkathon’ to spread vigilance awareness

Hyderabad: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) organized “Walkathon” in Shankarpally municipality, Sangareddy district to spread vigilance awareness in various strata of the society. The event was organized on Tuesday, said the official press release by BDL.

‘Integrity Pledge’ and ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ pledge were also administered to the participants on the occasion. The Walkathon coincided with the ‘Run for Unity’, event which was held on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrated by the Company to commemorate birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Students representing social welfare hostel, personnel from Shankarpally police station, personnel from CISF Unit attached to BDL Bhanur unit, BDL employees, local leaders and the general public participated enthusiastically in the Walkathon, said the official press release.

The ‘Walkathon’ commenced with an address by P V Rajaram, Director (Production), BDL who explained about the ill-effects of corruption. L Kishan, General Manager and Unit Head - BDL Bhanur Unit, S Govindarajulu, Additional General Manager (Vigilance), BDL, Vinayaka Reddy, Circle Inspector, Shankarpally police station and other senior officials and employees of BDL participated, the official release by BDL concluded.
