Q4FY23 results: Petronet LNG's net profit decreases by 3.35%

Petronet LNG's net profit for FY23 stood at Rs 3,239.94 crores as compared to Rs 3,352.36 crores in FY22, registering a decrease of 3.35 percent on y-o-y basis

New Delhi: State-owned Petronet LNG said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday that its net profit for FY23 stood at Rs 3,239.94 crores as compared to Rs 3,352.36 crores in FY22, registering a decrease of 3.35 percent on y-o-y basis. The company recorded a dip in net profit from Rs 1,180.54 crores to Rs 614.25 crores on q-o-q basis.

The company's revenue from operations decreased from Rs 43,168.57 crores to Rs 59,899.35 crores, registering a decline of almost 27 percent on y-o-y basis. On q-o-q basis, the revenue from operations declined from Rs 15,775.87 crores to Rs 13,873.93 crores.

However, the total expenditure decreased from Rs 14,374.18 crores to Rs 13,209.64 crores on q-o-q basis while the same increased from Rs 39,002.01 crores to Rs 56,138.43 on y-o-y basis, registering an increase of 43.93 percent.

The company's total comprehensive income for the period declined from Rs 1,180.54 crores in Q3FY23 to Rs 609.97 crores in Q4FY23, registering a decline of 48.33 percent on q-o-q basis. On y-o-y basis, the company's comprehensive income reduced from Rs 3,350.98 crores to Rs 3,234.26 crores.
