New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel) has reported a total income of Rs 910 crore for the first quarter of FY 2026-27, while its operating income grew 20 percent year-on-year to Rs 893 crore.
The financial results were approved at the company's 162nd Board Meeting held on July 30.

RailTel reported a Profit Before Tax (before exceptional items) of Rs 96 crore for the quarter ended June 30, registering a 12 percent year-on-year growth. The company's Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 66 crore during the quarter.
Commenting on the performance, RailTel Chairman and Managing Director Sanjai Kumar said the company had made a strong operational start to FY 2026-27 with consistent growth in both revenue and operating profits.

He said RailTel secured new orders worth Rs 4,968 crore during the last six months, taking its total order book to Rs 11,747 crore as on date. He added that the company is focusing on faster project execution, which is expected to drive substantial growth in operating income over the coming quarters.
