RailTel posts total Income of Rs 578 crore in Q1 of FY'25

The total revenue for Q1 FY 25 stood at Rs 578 crore, a 20 percent rise from Rs483 crore recorded in Q1 FY'24

New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel) has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025 (Q1 FY25), showcasing significant year-over-year (YOY) growth in both revenue and profits. In its 148th Board Meeting held on August 1, 2024, the company reported an operating income of Rs 558 crore, reflecting a 19 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

The total revenue for Q1 FY 25 stood at Rs 578 crore, a 20 percent rise from Rs483 crore recorded in Q1 FY'24. The company's Profit Before Tax (PBT) also saw a substantial increase, reaching Rs67 crore, up 30 percent from Rs51 crore in the previous year's first quarter. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter was Rs 49 crore, a notable improvement from Rs38 crore in Q1 FY24.

Commenting on the results, RailTel's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Sanjai Kumar stated, "The company has consistently demonstrated operational excellence, reflected in our growing revenue and healthy profit margins. Over the past six months, we have secured new orders worth Rs1525 crore, bolstering our order book to Rs 4682 crore. We anticipate significant growth in operating income in the coming quarters, driven by our strong focus on project execution."

RailTel's impressive financial performance highlights its strategic initiatives and strong market position, signaling continued growth and expansion in the future.
