RailTel posts total income of Rs 675 crore in Q3 of FY’24

RailTel has posted net profit of Rs 62 crore in Q3 of FY'24 as against Rs 32 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year registering a YoY growth of 94 percent

New Delhi: RailTel announced its operating income of Rs 668 crore in Q3 of FY 2023-24 with 47 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth and with 12 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth in its 144th Board Meeting held on Monday. The company has posted a total income of Rs 675 crore in Q3 of FY 2023-24.

The company posted Rs 84 crore profit before tax (PBT) in Q3 of FY’24 as against Rs 43 crores in corresponding period of the previous year, registering a 95 percent YOY growth.

The company has posted profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 62 crore in Q3 of FY'24 as against Rs 32 crore in the corresponding period of previous year registering a YoY growth of 94 percent.

For the nine months ended on December 31, 2023, the company achieved a total income of Rs 1,770 crores and total PAT of Rs 169 crores registering a 38 percent and 50 percent YOY growth respectively.

Talking about the Q3 results, RailTel's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Sanjai Kumar said, “Operationally the company has been performing consistently with an impressive growth of 12 percent on QoQ basis and 47 percent on YoY basis in operating revenue. The growth in operating revenue and PAT for the nine-month period of FY'24 also, has been encouraging. With healthy order book, the company has visibility of substantial growth in operating income in coming quarters”.
