The project, to be developed by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO), marks a significant scale-up from the earlier approved cost of around Rs 3,700 crore. It will be implemented by NBCC under a self-financing model, ensuring financial sustainability along with transparency and efficiency.
Planned near Jaipur International Airport, the large-scale development will span over 90 acres and include a world-class convention centre, expo halls, IT/ITES spaces, global capability centres, hospitality and retail infrastructure, residential components, and a natural history museum. The project will also feature riverfront development along the Dravyawati river, with a focus on sustainability and urban resilience.

At the core of the development is the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre, designed to host international events with multiple auditoria, including a main hall with a seating capacity of around 6,500 people.
NBCC is expected to float tenders for the project in April. The project is anticipated to significantly boost Jaipur’s positioning as a global destination for business, tourism, and cultural events, while contributing to regional economic growth.
