New Delhi: Rajasthan's revenue receipts from major departments rose 12.41 percent year-on-year to cross Rs 57,000 crore in the first five months of the current financial year, a top official said.
The state recorded revenue receipts of Rs 57,396 crore till August 2026, compared to Rs 51,061 crore a year ago, Chief Secretary V Srinivas said at a review meeting at the state secretariat.

Srinivas directed departments to regularly review their revenue targets, focus on recovery of outstanding dues and strengthen enforcement wherever required.
He also stressed effective action against illegal mining and continued enforcement against overloading, overspeeding and violations of transport rules.
Revenue from the mining sector stood at Rs 4,162 crore till August, up 20.26 percent from the year-ago period, while the petroleum sector generated Rs 1,107 crore, officials said.

The transport department collected Rs 3,095 crore compared to Rs 2,748 crore in the year-ago period.
GST collections stood at Rs 19,622 crore, an increase of 9.07 percent, and VAT receipts rose 14.09 percent to Rs 11,448 crore.
The Registration and Stamps Department collected Rs 6,313 crore, up 27.38 percent from Rs 4,956 crore a year ago.
The meeting also reviewed revenue collections by the excise, labour, and urban development and housing departments.
